Meagan obtained an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech and Language Sciences from Brock University and a Graduate Certificate in Communicative Disorders Assistant at Georgian College. Meagan is registered with the Communicative Disorders Assistant Association of Canada (CDAAC). With experience at the York Region Preschool Speech and Language Program, York Catholic District School Board, Town of Newmarket, and The Crystal Ladder Learning Centre, she has worked with children of all ages and abilities.
At the York Region Preschool Speech and Language Program, Meagan was a part of the Child Development Program Speech and Language team where she delivered services to preschool age children with various diagnoses. These included, Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, Down Syndrome, Deaf and hard of hearing, and other complex medical conditions and disorders. Her clinical work had an emphasis on play-based therapy and Augmentative and Alternative Communications. Meagan has completed American Sign Language levels 1 & 2 and has spent her time working closely 1:1 with children of various exceptionalities. After living and working in Ontario and growing up in the small town of Keswick, Meagan began working at the Crystal Ladder Learning Centre to continue to develop her skills as a CDA and Behavioural Therapist; this is where she met Erin Goldvasser and joined the team at TWO CAN TALK.
